Banke Bihari Temple Vrindavan

Shri Banke Bihari Temple in Vrindavan near Raman Reti was built by Swami Haridas in 1864. This temple is major place to visit in Brij Bhoomi. This temple was constructed in 1864 with the contribution of Goswamis. After constructing of temple, Goswamis transferred the idol to this temple. Bankey means “Bent at three places” and Bihari means “Supreme enjoyer”.

Devotees can visit Vrindavan through NH2 ( Agra Delhi national highway), Vrindavan cut comes before Mathura city. From NH2 it is almost 8KM. From NH2 there is public transportation service available. Nearest airport is Agra airport.
